Gender Initiatives

The Multicultural Center places a heavy emphasis on diversity. In order for students to celebrate as well as learn about other cultures, the center hosts various gender-based initiatives.

Men of Color

The Men of Color Honor Society is an organization geared toward amplifying the accomplishments of male students of color while providing additional resources to help them further their academic, personal and professional goals. Applicants will go through a holistic application and recommendation process that takes into account campus involvement, community involvement, commitment to being a man of honor, and GPA. No one criteria outweighs the other. Once selected, members will meet on Tuesdays at noon for eight weeks, starting on February 26. For questions, contact Lauren Whiteman and Lauren.Whiteman@unt.edu.
