The Men of Color Honor Society is an organization geared toward amplifying the accomplishments of male students of color while providing additional resources to help them further their academic, personal and professional goals. Applicants will go through a holistic application and recommendation process that takes into account campus involvement, community involvement, commitment to being a man of honor, and GPA. No one criteria outweighs the other. Once selected, members will meet on Tuesdays at noon for eight weeks, starting on February 26. The Men of Color Experience is an opportunity for male students of color to attend an immersive experience rooted in history, policy, community and culture, at no cost to the student. This year's experience will be held in Tulsa, Oklahoma in partnership with the George Kaiser Family Foundation. Students will be able to visit the historic Greenwood District, former home to Black Wall Street, learn about a paid policy internship program, and see how community planning and organizing works in growing cities.

Fem Flicks is a free film series that explores how gender identities intersect with race/ethnicity, disability, sexuality, etc. A post discussion follows the film and is led by a member of UNT’s faculty or Denton community member. Fem Flicks is a collaboration between the Multicultural Center, the Media Library, and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program designed to provide information and educational opportunities about diversity and inclusion to the UNT community. Past films have included: Braveheart: The Lizzie Velazquez, No Mas Bebes, India’s Daughter, and much more!

The Clothesline Project is a program started on Cape Cod, MA, in 1990 to address the issue of violence against women, and serve as a vehicle for women affected by violence to express their emotions. The Clothesline Project takes place multiple times during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and April, which is Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Students and community members are able to create a shirt that allows each survivor, friends, or family members to tell their own story, allowing those who are still suffering in silence to understand that they are not alone.

Once a month the Multicultural Center hosts a free dinner and mixer to create space for male students of color to engage and build relationships with faculty and staff members of color. The Men of Color Mixers occur on the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The North Texas Male Summit is a partnership between the UNT Multicultural Center, the Division of Student Affairs and Tarrant County Colleges that provides a free, day-long conference to provide development and experiences for collegiate and high school-aged male students of color as a means of supporting persistence, and providing resources and encouragement for educators and male students of color. The Summit will be held on March 29 here at the University of North Texas.
