The College of Education advising team is dedicated to working with students to design an academic plan that supports success.

More than teaching teachers

UNT's Department of Kinesiology, Health Promotion and Recreation offers you programs that focus on mental and physical health, and sport recreation administration. You can study the biological and behavioral components of movement, exercise and sport as a Kinesiology major or the impact of health programs on local and global populations as a Public Health or Health Promotion major. If you want to design, implement, lead and evaluate recreation programs and sporting events, you can find your place as a Recreation, Event and Sport Management major.

On top of changing trends

With 800,000 English language learners in Texas schools, we face a growing need for bilingual educators. Our bilingual and ESL programs prepare you to meet these needs. Our elementary and middle school programs also prepare you to teach STEM subjects to early learners.

Gain an international perspective

Learn about other cultures while gaining experience in the classroom with our international student exchange program with universities in Spain, Costa Rica and England. UNT's Study Abroad Office offers this and many more opportunities to take your education outside the classroom.

Personalized advising to meet your needs

Our advising team is your partner and will guide you throughout your college journey to ensure success. Whether it's our prospective student advising sessions as you choose UNT or undergraduate advising to help you design a degree plan, we're here to help.
