Earn a Degree in Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists are in high demand—the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts at 24% from 2016-2024, which is much faster than average.
This is a career that matters. Occupational therapists have a big impact on people’s lives, helping clients of all ages overcome physical, developmental, emotional and/or social deficits. You’re improving people’s lives.
So whether you’re seeking to earn your Masters of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), with full time campus as well as Flex options available, USAHS has a program that fits into your life and your schedule.
Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT)
Learn to employ science-driven and evidence-based interventions that promote increased quality of life for people of all ages. As a graduate with a MOT, you will contribute to both your profession and to society through competence, ethical standards, and professionalism. You’ll be able to complete your program in two years.
Entry Level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD)
The OTD program is designed for students with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree who want to become licensed occupational therapists. It’s an advanced degree with a capstone experiential project, OTD enables expanded career paths including research leadership, theory, program development, and emerging practice areas. Finish 117 credits over 8 trimesters (2 years and 8 months) to earn your OTD.
FLEX MOT and OTD Programs
Online courses and alternating weekend on-campus labs give working adults, and those with family responsibilities, flexible scheduling. You can earn your MOT degree in three years or your OTD in four years. It’s the same degree as the residential program.
