Art Supply Donations for Citations is a program that allows students to donate unused needed art supplies to receive forgiveness for up to $60 in late fees on their Transportation Services account. Late fees must have been accumulated during the Fall 2018 semester.
Donations cannot be applied to the primary cost of any citation, only to late fees.
The program runs from Monday, April 29, 2019 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019. No donations will be accepted after 6 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019.
How to get credit:
Look at the attached list of needed art supplies and choose which materials you would like to donate.
Go to Voertman’s or anywhere that carries art supplies and pick up your donations.
Bring your unused donations to the Transportation Services office before 6 p.m. on May 31, 2019 to have them applied to your late fees.
Donations will be picked up weekly by an SGA representative and donated to the UNT Art Closet.

Why do this program right before finals week? We want students to have a chance to end their semester and the academic year with a clean slate. This can help students who have let their citations build up late fees to get their accounts down to manageable levels.
- Can students get credit for donating supplies that aren’t on the list? Unfortunately, at this time, we can only accept supplies that are on the list of needed art supplies, found here.
- How much credit can I receive if I donate art supplies? We will forgive up to $60 in late fees.
- Are there any late fees that aren’t eligible for this program? Late fees applied to an account before Fall 2018 would not be eligible for reduction.
- Can I send my friend in/donate art supplies for someone else? While we appreciate any donations for the UNT Art Closet, because of privacy laws, we cannot discuss anyone’s account with a third party without express, written permission in the form of a FERPA release form from the account holder.
