If you are struggling to open, connect, or use Smarthinking, try the following:
- Make sure that your browser is set up to allow cookies and pop-up windows. SMARTHINKING uses both of these.
- Make sure the you have Java installed. If you need to install Java, go to http://www.java.com and follow the instructions for the free download.

Using the Whiteboard
One of Smarthinking's best and most innovate features is the use of their collaborative whiteboard. If you are struggling to use the Whiteboard feature or have questions, this tutorial video might provide some helpful tips and techniques. The Whiteboard feature is used during drop-in tutoring and scheduled appointments, and it is also used to submit questions.
