The Office of Career and Professional Development offers resources that will help you effectively utilize your law degree as you navigate a changing job market.  Seasoned professionals will regularly provide career information. OCPD collaborates with faculty on curricular and co-curricular programs that develop students’ understanding of their own skills and interests, the operational aspects of practicing law, the changing marketplace for legal services, and the range of practice pathways. We partner with students to facilitate the identification of professional interests and support the development of an individualized professional roadmap, using one-on-one discussions and group events. Summer Employment

Employers who are seeking students for summer employment will be invited for on campus interviews (“OCI”). Job postings will be made available to students.  Since this is not a formal OCI program, employers will not be required to interview students on campus.   The on campus interview program (“OCI”) will begin shortly before the start of the Fall semester.

In order to take all necessary steps to provide a legal education program that will qualify for approval by the American Bar Association (“ABA”), the Office of Career and Professional Development will maintain consistent contact with students to gather data to meet the ABA’s standards and procedures regarding law graduate employment data. To view employment outcomes see our ABA Disclosures.
