DENTON, Texas (KNTU) Count Basie Orchestra leader Scotty Barnhart and lead trumpeter Frank David Greene stopped by KNTU’s studios on Wednesday, Feb. 6, and sat down for a chat with DJ Lana Kuscer. The orchestra performed Wednesday night at the Murchison Performing Arts Center in Denton. They were also scheduled to perform two shows Saturday night at Scat Jazz Lounge in Fort Worth.
