Scholarship Opportunities

Our scholarships for incoming transfer students are just one example of our commitment to your success! Incoming transfer students should complete the General Scholarship Application as early as possible each year and review the individual scholarship links for additional information.

Oklahoma Tuition Plan

Oklahoma residents seeking a bachelor's degree at UNT can now attend for about half the cost of out-of-state tuition.

Installment Plan

UNT offers the convenience and flexibility of paying for courses on an installment plan. You pay 10% of your tuition and fees by the payment deadline each semester, with three additional payments due the third of each month.*

* An installment plan is also available to pay for your on-campus housing. Residence hall payments can be broken into eight manageable monthly payments.

Maximizing your financial aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is available beginning Oct. 1 for the following academic year. To speed the process, request your PIN and review necessary documents ahead of time. The earlier you apply, the more likely you are to be considered for assistance.

To learn how to apply for financial aid or transfer your application data, call UNT’s Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships at 940-565-2302 or 877-881-1014 several months before transferring to UNT.
