Athletic Training Students Info

Sports Medicine

Athletic training students will gain hands-on experience working closely with student athletes while attending treatments, practices and games both at home and on the road with North Texas athletic teams. This opportunity provides the athletic training student with an invaluable learning experience while ensuring the safety of the student-athletes. While working alongside the athletic-training staff, student athletic trainers will learn and apply basic athletic training techniques, including injury prevention, evaluation and management.

All coursework must be completed around your assigned team's practice schedule.
