Mean Green Gameday Shuttle

The Mean Green Gameday Shuttle provides free transportation between Apogee and downtown Denton three hours before and an hour after home games. Buses run between the Euline Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center and Apogee, and make stops on Hickory, Oak and Fry Streets.

Go Mean Green! - The University of North Texas asks fans to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner that reflects well on our teams, our university, and our community. We want to provide all fans with a comfortable, enjoyable, and safe atmosphere. Fans using foul or abusive language or gestures will be removed; fans appearing intoxicated will be removed; and fans interfering with the progress of the game, throwing objects, or going onto the field will be subject to removal, citation, and/or arrest.

ADA Drop-Off and Parking - Fans with disabilities may be dropped off at Apogee Stadium at Gate 1. Vehicles with valid disabled-parking placards or license plates may enter the White Lot near Gate 1 via the entrance on Bonnie Brae St. and drop off fans with disabilities at the entrance of Gate 1. Those vehicles may NOT park in the White Lot unless they have a White Lot Parking Pass. VIOLATORS WILL BE TOWED.

ADA parking is located in the west section of the Fouts Field parking lot. A valid disabled parking placard or license plate is required to park in this area. North Texas runs a shuttle service for fans with disabilities from the ADA parking lot to Apogee Stadium.

ADA Seating - Seating for wheelchairs is located on the concourse level between the lower and upper bowl. One guest will be permitted to sit with each wheelchair guest. Both guests must have a valid game ticket. Special arrangements for additional guests may be requested through the ticket office prior to the game. Assistance animals are permitted. Wheelchair-accessible seating is limited and should be requested through the ticket office to ensure availability. Chairs for companions are available by request from an usher.

ADA Student Seating - Ample seating for students with disabilities is available in the Student sections on a first come, first serve basis. Both student and their guest need a student ticket and/or student-guest ticket. Chairs are available for guests upon request from an usher. All student seating, including ADA student seating, is general admission.

Alcohol - Alcohol cannot be brought in or taken out of Apogee Stadium. Beer and wine is sold in the concessions stands and/or kiosks in concourse near Sections 103. 104, 106, 108, 110, 113, 114, 119 and 121. All beer and wine sales conclude at the end of the third quarter. Any person purchasing alcohol must present a valid I.D. No alcohol will be sold to intoxicated guests, and we reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol at our discretion. If you choose to drink, please do so responsibly.

Assistance - If fans require non-emergency assistance in Apogee Stadium, fans can send a text message with the problem and their location in the stadium, and help will be dispatched. Text "SCRAPPY" the issue and your location to 69050 (message and data rates may apply). Fans may also call the non-emergency police dispatch at 940-565-3000.

ATM Machines - ATMs are located inside Gate 2 and Gate 4.

Baby-Changing Stations - Apogee Stadium has six family restrooms equipped with baby-changing stations, two each on the east, west, and north sides of the stadium.

Banners and Signs - Handheld banners, signs, and flags are permitted that do not contain profanity or derogatory statements and do not obstruct the view of other spectators. No banners, signs, or flags may be hung at Apogee Stadium without the prior approval of the Athletic Department. Signs for political purposes are not allowed in the stadium or on stadium grounds.

Cameras - Still cameras with a lens greater than 100mm, any audio and video recording equipment, monopods, dual pods, and tripods are not allowed. Any images taken by fans are for personal use only, may not be used for commercial purposes, and may not be sold without the expressed written consent of the University of North Texas.

Campus Cruiser Shuttle - The UNT Campus Cruiser shuttle runs on Saturdays, including on game days, from stops on campus to Victory Hall, a block south of Apogee Stadium. Click here for the Campus Cruiser route.

Child Entry - Children under the age of 3 years old do not require a ticket. However, the child must sit on an adult's lap during the game without obstructing the view of other guests.

Concessions - Full-service concession stands are available along the west, north and east concourses. Full-service concessions stands accept credit and debit cards. Outside food and drink are prohibited inside Apogee Stadium. For menus and concessions stand locations, visit meangreenconcessions.com.

Eagle Ambassador Shuttle - A shuttle runs between Apogee Stadium Gate 2, Gate 3, the Victory Hall entrance and the Victory Hall bus stop on home game days. The shuttle begins two hours prior to kickoff and runs approximately every 15 minutes until the end of the first quarter, then resumes at the beginning of the fourth quarter until approximately 30 minutes after the end of the game. First Aid - First-aid stations are located on the west concourse just south of Gate 2 and on the east concourse north of Gate 4. Medical personnel are available in these stations to provide service and care. Nursing mothers may use the First Aid stations as needed.

Flag Pole Policy - No sticks or poles are allowed inside Apogee Stadium.

Gates - Gates open one hour and thirty minutes prior to kickoff. Those with west-side tickets (Sections 101-109, 201-212) should enter Gate 2. Those with east-side tickets (Sections 115-125, 215-224) should enter Gate 4. General Admission and End Zone Reserved tickets are located in the north end zone, and those fans should enter via Gate 3.

General Policies - All persons must have a ticket, and the holder of the ticket is restricted to the section, row, and seat of the held ticket. All sales are final and tickets cannot be refunded or replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. The University of North Texas reserves the right to revoke tickets by refund of purchase price. Holders of tickets to University athletic events must agree to abide by stadium and University policies. Tickets may not be sold on University property except by authorized personnel of North Texas Athletics. No alcoholic beverages, except in pre-approved areas, no umbrellas, no amplified noise-makers, or signs for political purposes are allowed in the stadium or on stadium grounds. Anyone apprehended with any intoxicants in the stadium, except in the sanctioned areas, will be subject to ejection without refund.

Guest Services - Guest Services booths are located just inside Gate 2 on the west side of the stadium and Gate 4 on the east side. The booths open when the stadium opens, and staff members are available to assist with questions, comments, or concerns.

Lost and Found - Lost and found articles can be reported and claimed at Guest Services located inside of Gate 2 and Gate 4. Guest Services is open one hour and thirty minutes prior to kickoff and closes thirty minutes after the end of the game. All items are returned to the Facilities/Event Management Office the business day after a game.

Lost Persons - If guests or children become lost at Apogee Stadium, they should seek out the nearest usher, uniformed police officer, or Guest Services booth for help. Parents looking for a lost child should check with the nearest police officer, usher, event-staff member, or Guest Services booth. All guests should keep their game tickets with them, and parents should urge children to keep their game ticket with them at all times as this will help reunite them with their parents or guardians.

Merchandise - Officially-licensed North Texas merchandise is available in the Mean Green Stadium Store located on both the west and east concourse. Click here for a map of Apogee Stadium. Mean Green merchandise is also available online at shop.meangreensports.com. The Mean Green Stadium Store is open six hours prior to kickoff on game days.

Noisemakers - Bells, horns, megaphones, whistles, and other artificial noisemakers are not permitted at Apogee Stadium, per NCAA and Conference USA policies.

Parking - For the game against Florida Atlantic on Nov. 15, parking lots around Apogee Stadium will open at different times to accommodate fans coming to the game and the student-athletes who park near the stadium on a daily basis. Designated parking areas for Mean Green Scholarship Fund members are located around Apogee Stadium and are controlled by color-coded passes. A pass must be displayed in each vehicle to access a reserved lot. Only one vehicle is permitted per space, and vehicles are not permitted on sidewalks or green spaces. Tailgating that takes up vacant parking spaces or interferes with traffic flow is prohibited. Saving spaces for other vehicles is also prohibited.

Individual-game parking is available in the Blue, Red and Orange Lots. Parking in the Blue and Orange lots can be purchased in advance until 5 p.m. the day before the game online through the North Texas ticket office or via the Parkmobile app. Search "Apogee Stadium" on Parkmobile for parking options.

The Blue Lots, located around Victory Hall, are available for on-demand parking. Individual-game parking in the Blue Lot is $30 in advance or by credit card, $35 for cash on the day of the game.

The Red Lot, which is the grass lot across Bonnie Brae Street from Apogee Stadium, is open to cash/credit parking. Cost is $20 by credit card, $25 for cash. Advance sales are not available for this lot. There is no RV parking in the Red lot. Because of its uneven surface, the Red Lot is unsuitable for ADA patrons.

The Orange Lot, located around Fouts Field, is cash/credit parking at a cost of $10 in advance or credit card and $15 cash.

ADA parking is in the west section of the Fouts Lot, and is available for $10 in advance or credit card and $15 cash with an ADA parking permit. A shuttle service runs between the ADA Lot and Apogee Stadium before and after home games. Parking For Recreational Vehicles - Qualifying members at the Mean Green Scholarship Fund's Founders Circle level and higher are eligible for an assigned season RV parking space in the Blue Lot. MGSF members at the Spiriki membership level and higher may purchase one RV pass for up to two games for $120 per pass. RV parking passes in the Orange Lot around Fouts Field can be purchased on the day of the game for $60. RV parking assignments are allocated in Priority Point order and based on availability. For more information, please contact the MGSF office at 940-369-7284. RV parking is not available in the Grass Lot or in the ADA Lot.

Permitted Items - Permitted items are binoculars (no case), pagers, cell phones, small cameras, small radios, blankets, rain apparel, diaper bags (with baby), strollers (check-in service available), soft sided purses, fanny packs, and small bags. Please see the clear bag policy.

Program - Extra-Point, the official game program, is available from vendors at each gate on the west and east side.

Prohibited Items - Prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • pets of any kind (except assistance animals for those with disabilities)
  • fireworks
  • weapons, flagpoles
  • laser pointers
  • explosive devices and artificial noisemakers
  • outside food and drink (exception: fans can bring one unopened one-liter or smaller bottle of water
  • backpacks
  • large and hard sided bags
  • suitcases
  • glass or metal beverage containers
  • flasks
  • coolers
  • thermoses
  • drones
  • selfie sticks
  • aerosol spray cans
  • umbrellas
  • video recorders and tripods

Re-Entry - Guests are NOT permitted to leave Apogee Stadium and return on the same ticket. Re-entry will be permitted only in the case of an emergency. In the event of an emergency, please see security personnel prior to exiting the stadium.

Restrooms - Restrooms are located along the west, north and east concourses of the stadium. A restroom located on the east concourse will be open to service the outside tailgating area prior to the gates opening. Additional portable restroom facilities are located in the parking and tailgating areas around Apogee Stadium and Fouts Field.

Smoking - The University of North Texas is a smoke-free campus. Smoking is prohibited in Apogee Stadium.

Stroller Service - A check-in service is available for those with baby strollers. Baby strollers can be dropped off at the Guest Services booths at Gate 2 and Gate 4. Strollers are not allowed in the seating areas of Apogee Stadium.

Student Tickets - Current University of North Texas students get into games free. Student tickets for football, men's basketball and women's basketball are now mobile-only and are delivered to your iPhone or Android device prior to each home game. Students are also able to purchase guest tickets on their mobile device. For complete instructions, visit the student page on the North Texas Ticket Office website.

Tailgating - Tailgating takes place on The Hill on the southeast side of Apogee Stadium and in green spaces in and around the Black, Blue, and Orange parking lots.

  • Tailgate equipment can be dropped off in Lot 35 (the former Radisson lot) two and a half hours prior to Apogee's gates opening (which takes place one and a half hours before kickoff). No vehicles can remain parked in Lot 35. Equipment can be picked up after the game is completed and the majority of pedestrian crowd has departed.
  • Tailgating may not occupy empty parking spaces or inhibit traffic flow. Tents and canopies are allowed as long as they do not impede foot or vehicle traffic or extend into additional parking spaces.
  • Campus parking lots open at 7 a.m. prior to each game for tailgating.
  • Responsible and lawful consumption of alcohol is permitted within University rules and protocols. Police patrol the tailgating areas and enforce applicable laws.
  • Glass containers and kegs are NOT permitted.
  • Commercially-sponsored tailgates are prohibited except in designated locations. To organize such a tailgate, contact the sales department at 940-565-2527.

Tickets and Admission - Apogee Stadium gates will open one hour and thirty minutes prior to kick-off. All sales are final. Tickets may be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Apogee's ticket office requires identification (driver's license or passport) to locate the appropriate account and ticket location. Children 3 years of age and over are required to have tickets; children under 3 years of age must sit on an adult's lap during the game without obstructing the view of other guests. North Texas students enter free with a valid UNT ID but must have a ticket prior to entering a gate. Cash, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover will be accepted at all stadium ticket office locations (west, northeast, and east).

Ticket Office Hours - On game days, the ticket office at Gate 2 will open six hours prior to kickoff. The ticket offices at Gates 3 and 4 will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

Uber and Lyft drop-off - Uber and Lyft drop-off is available at Lot 35, the old Radisson Lot, northeast of the stadium.

Umbrellas - For the safety of all spectators, umbrellas are prohibited inside Apogee Stadium. Guests may consider bringing appropriate rain gear in case of inclement weather.

Will Call - Ticket orders for individuals placed within 10 business days of the game will not be mailed. Tickets can be picked up at the North Texas Ticket Office the week of the game or on game day at the Will Call windows at Gate 2. Only the person whose name appears on the order may pick-up will-call tickets, and a photo ID is required. Refunds will not be issued for unclaimed will-call tickets.
