Jane Kent is a well respected artist and printmaker. She is equally known for her collaborations at some of the nations leading fine art presses. Kent uses abstract compositions, which lie between the richly organic and the 50's. Her implementation of eccentric mixes of unbalanced shapes and vibrant colors compliment the image as if it were a painting.
Jane Kent solo exhibitions have been held at venues such as the Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Art, RI, Montclair Art Museum, NJ and the Graphic Arts Collection, Princeton University, NJ. Group exhibitions Kent has participated in include the 11th Annual Print Biennial at the Henry Moore Gallery, Royal College of Art, London, England, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC, and Brooklyn Museum, NY among many others.
