Reginald Johnson is in his fifth year as associate athletic director of development at North Texas Athletics. As one of the primary major gift fundraisers for Mean Green athletics, Reginald is responsible for securing major gifts for the athletic department as well as assisting in the growth and expansion of the Mean Green Scholarship Fund.
Along with the athletic department's initiatives in the universities capital campaign, Johnson is responsible for all aspects of the premium seating program at North Texas. These responsibilities include the sale of suites and club seats at Apogee Stadium.
Johnson brings with him 15 years of fundraising experience, the last 12 at North Texas. He previously held the position of development officer in the College of Business and the regional director of development, identifying and building the donor base outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
Prior to North Texas, Johnson had careers in counseling and sales.
A native of Waco, Texas, Johnson began his undergraduate studies at North Texas and completed his bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Reginald and his wife Demetris, whom he met as a student at North Texas, have two daughters.
