Cindy Ford came to North Texas in 1992, and joined the athletic department in 1997.
Her main role is supporting the administrative needs of Olympic Sports, Compliance and Academic Services, particularly with travel and travel reconciliation, as well as general support for student-service initiatives.
Ford has served many roles in the athletic department. For eight years, she worked as the administrative assistant to the Olympic sports at North Texas, performing office duties for men's & women's golf, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis and volleyball. She was also the travel coordinator and spent 10 years in the Mean Green basketball office. She also manages the hiring and payroll processes for hourly workers in the department.
Ford resides in Ponder with her husband, Craig. She is an active member of the Denton County Cowboy Church and stays busy supporting her family in rodeos, attending Mean Green sporting events, rummaging through flea markets and spending as much time as possible doting over her grandson.
