Luke Walerius was hired as North Texas football's director of recruiting on January 31, 2018.
Walerius previously served as a recruiting assistant for two seasons under head coach Mark Stoops at Kentucky, where worked in all aspects of recruiting, including talent evaluation.
The Alexandria, Kentucky, native also served three seasons as a student assistant in the Wildcats' recruiting office. He earned his bachelor's degree and a master's degree in sport leadership from Kentucky.
