Zachary Peters joined the North Texas Athletics Department in July of 2014, and serves as the video coordinator for football.
Peters manages all aspects of internal team video and game-analysis needs for the coaching staff and players. His primary responsibility lies in overseeing North Texas’ 32-client XOS video network that is utilized daily by the football coaching staff to aide in game preparation. Additionally, Peters is responsible for producing weekly motivational highlight videos as well as other creative production endeavors for the football team.
Prior to joining North Texas, Peters served as the director of football video at UAB in 2013. Before joining UAB, Peters spent eight seasons with the University of Oklahoma, working as a student videographer from 2005-08, a graduate assistant video coordinator during the 2009 and 2010 seasons, and as a video operations assistant during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Peters also spent a portion of 2011 working with the San Francisco 49ers, serving as an assistant video coordinator.
A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Peters earned his bachelor’s degree in broadcasting & electronic media from the University of Oklahoma in 2009. He earned his master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 2012.
