FAQ's

 

What should I bring to camp?
Shoes for grass and indoor (sneakers), Soccer ball and shin guards, Plenty of socks, t-shirts and shorts, Swimsuit and sunscreen, Ex-long twin sheets, pillow, blanket, sleeping bag, alarm clock, towels and toiletries – soap , shampoo etc…, Water bottle and cash for snacks

Can I request a roommate?
We welcome roommate requests and always attempt to meet them but we cannot guarantee them. Roommate requests must correspond with one another. It is recommended to send in applications together.

Can campers stay 3 to a room?
Most rooms have 2 to a room sharing the bathroom with the room next to it while others have their own room with a bathroom joining the room next to it.

Are the dorms air-conditioned?
Yes, each room has control over the AC.

Will the rooms have refrigerators?
No, but you may bring one for your stay.

Will campers need spending money?
We will have a camp store for players to buy snacks and drinks.

Where is check-in?
At Victory Hall, in the lobby.

How are the campers grouped during training?
We base the teams of age and skill level but our goal is for every camper to be in a comfortable learning environment and will accommodate necessary changes.

Can parents attend the scrimmages?
Parents are welcome to attend the evening sessions.

When is the deadline for getting in my application?
There is no deadline but we do limit the number of campers at each camp to ensure the best possible camp so it is best to register early. If there is still availability we do accept walk-ups the day of.

What is the camp refund policy?
A $150 deposit is required with each reservation. The deposit of $150 is non-refundable and is subtracted from the total fee.  However, if circumstances or injury make it impossible to attend camp, the deposit will be credited to next year’s camp.

Where do the campers eat?
The campers eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the cafeteria attached to Victory Hall.

DROP-OFF & PICK –UP @ UNT COMMUTER CAMP:
The UNT commuter camp is the same as the residential camp without spending the night in the dorm. Campers need to arrive at 8:15am in the lobby of the dorm to meet up with their team before we head to the fields. Evening pick up will be at 8:30pm at the dorm and checked out by a UNT Soccer Camp staff member.

UNT RESIDENTIAL CAMP:
The residential camp tuition pays for meals Sunday dinner through Wednesday breakfast. If campers want to order Pizza in the evenings after the last session, please send money with your child for that.

GK Training:
Goal keepers will be trained during regular sessions as well as a few additional sessions. Goalkeepers are getting valuable coaching information in shooting sessions as well as the night games.  Many players can also play in the goal, please tell us at check in if you would like to join the GK sessions.

Evening Games:
Parents are welcome to come and watch games in the evening. Games will be played in multiple locations near the dorm. Check in with your son, daughter or camp director to find where you child might be playing.
