Abstract
Scope and Contents of the Materials
Files, correspondence and diaries of Norma Schmelling. Personal letters, journals, notebooks and scrapbooks from pre high school (1950s) through c. 1990. Also miscellaneous business files, collected publications and programs, and daily planners. Business correspondence is primarily related to gender equality in post-ERA Texas, lobbying to (and sometimes campaigning for) Texas politicians. Personal correspondence from family and close friends makes up a large part of this collection.Access Information
