Swim and Dive Wins Third Straight

SAN ANTONIO – For the third meet in a row North Texas swim and dive came out on top as meet winners.

The Mean Green outscored Incarnate Word (162-137) and defeated TCU for a second time this season (157-140) after taking down the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth in December. North Texas won five events across the day.

A strong finish to the season marks the best regular season under head coach Brittany Roth. North Texas' focus now shifts to Conference USA competitions in February. The Mean Green finishes the regular season with a new program best 6-2 record.

"This is huge for our senior class," Roth said. "These girls have done a great job all season working together and competing together. The attitude of us versus everyone. I thought they came together and battled."

TCU and Incarnate Word both feature men's programs, adding to the amount of time between races for the Mean Green.

"The extra time can mess up our girl's rhythm. They handled it well," Roth said.

Jensen was active all around for the Mean Green. The meet highlighted North Texas' depth.
