Chroniques de France, "a window on France", is a series of documentaries produced during the 1964-1978 period by France's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aimed at giving other nations a comprehensive overview of French society. This collection brings together short reports – from about 6 to 13 minutes in length – on every aspect of France's regional, cultural and artistic life. The films invite viewers on set with directors and musical performers and cover topics ranging from fashion to news to national attractions and monuments.
This collection contains 18 issues of the videomagazine, on 16mm film reels, and one index containing guides to most of the films.
