China 1+2+1 Transfer Success Scholarship

Description

UNT is excited to partner with China Center for International Educational Exchange (CCIEE) to support students transferring to UNT to complete and undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Merchandising, Public Health and Science.

Transfer students admitted to a UNT degree-seeking program will compete for available scholarship funds based on their incoming transfer GPA.

IELI graduates will compete for available scholarship funds based on their incoming transfer GPA.

Eligibility

The China 1+2+1 Transfer Success Scholarship is available to students transferring as undergraduate students from an accredited university with a cumulative 3.0 transfer GPA. 

Undergraduate international students admitted for the fall term are able to compete for UNT Transfer Scholarship opportunities available to incoming transfer students with a cumulative 3.0 transfer GPA and at least 45 attempted credit hours.

Consistent enrollment is required for scholarship renewal. Additionally, renewal will require completion of 12 credit hours per term, while maintaining a cumulative 3.25 UNT GPA. 

Students eligible for multiple scholarship opportunities will receive the most beneficial award. Receipt of multiple awards is limited by funding available.

Scholarship Amounts

Awards will be $3,000 per term, renewable for a maximum of 4 terms, or until the recipient completes their UNT degree program if the program requires more than 2 years to complete.
