WHAT IS DALLAS COUNTY PROMISE AND WHAT ROLE DOES UNT DALLAS PLAY?

The University of North Texas at Dallas is proud to make a bachelor’s degree attainable for all as a partner with Dallas County Promise, an innovative, life-changing program that aims to send graduating seniors in Dallas County to college for free! Dallas County Promise extends to every high school student regardless of grades or income level.

Promise Scholars make a pledge to attend a Dallas County community college tuition-free. After earning an associate degree, Promise Scholars then continue at UNT Dallas for up to three more years to pursue a bachelor’s degree. If state and federal financial aid don’t cover the cost of classes, Dallas County Promise will cover the rest!
