Introduction and Instructions

Welcome to the Hazard Communication Standard, HCS, and Globally Harmonized System, GHS, Training Program.

The information contained in these learning modules are meant to provide greater awareness concerning chemical safety and hazards in the workplace. The training illustrates how various existing systems provide information regarding the identities and hazards of chemicals in a form that must be available and understandable to workers. This is self-paced, online training.

Expected Participation

Who should participate in the training?

New and affected employees, TAs, RAs, researchers, scientists, and faculty are required to complete this training on an annual basis.
