Policy description: 

The Office of Research Compliance, as a part of the Office of Research Services, maintains a system of procedures, guidelines, and practices to comply with rules established by the federal government as required as a condition of receiving federal funds. Regulated research compliance areas include human and animal subjects, biosafety, radiation and lasers, conflict of interest, and scientific misconduct.
