All around campus, there are specially trained, advocates for campus safety called Safety Coordinators. 💪 Safety Coordinators are full-time #UNT staff members who, in addition to their daily duties, take on additional responsibility to help make UNT a safe place to work and learn. 🦅 Our mission would not be possible without the help of these dedicated individuals. 💚
To honor our Safety Coordinators who go above and beyond, each month we will highlight an outstanding Safety Co...ordinator. We are delighted to announce that our May 2019 Safety Coordinator of the Month is Linda Clisso with the UNT Student Health and Wellness Center! 🎉
Linda has been an incredible advocate for the Safety Coordinator program and has taken incredible initiative in her building - facilitating drills and following up after exercises with after-action items. Linda says her favorite thing about being a Safety Coordinator is teaching people how to be aware of their surroundings and how to know what to do in an emergency.
