The Roberts lab is part of the UNT Dept. of Biological Sciences and the UNT Institute of Applied Sciences. We conduct research in molecular ecology and toxicology both in the laboratory and in the field. Our "dual membership" gives us access to a number of great facilities including wetlabs, molecular biology labs, and mesocosm facilities.
Our research program is focused largely on the effects of environmental stressors on aquatic organisms, specifically on how changes at the molecular and biochemical level can result in impacts on populations, communities, and ecosystems.
