This is the website of Amy R. Murrell, Ph.D. I am a member of the Clinical Psychology faculty at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas (since August of 2005).

I have taught graduate-level Cognitive Assessment, Practicum, Child Psychopathology and Cognitive Assessment and undergraduate-level Abnormal Child Psychology.

I run a research team that is focused on Relational Frame Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. You can learn more about RFT and ACT at the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science website.

I have recently written a book, The Joy of Parenting, approaching parenting and parenting concerns from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy perspective.
