Research Tools

In order to make your information search as simple and fruitful as possible, the librarians at UNT have collected together a number of resources to assist you in your research.

The Quick Reference pages give you instant access to a collection of public internet resources on a variety of popular topics. Our Subject Guides and Class Pages pull together sources from both our print collections as well as electronic sources directed at either a particular course taught at UNT or in a focused subject area. Online tutorials allow you to learn new research methods and strategies at your own pace and at your convenience.

Once you have found an item in the catalog that you want to take a closer look at, the Call Number Location Guides can help you quickly track down where in the maze of bookshelves it can be found. And once you've found that perfect item, the Citation Guides and Style Manuals page can help you cite it correctly in your research.
