Grants awarded to Electrical Engineering faculty

Electrical Engineering faculty members have been awarded a number of new research grants.

Dr. Kamesh Namuduri and Dr. Yan Wan will be the principal investigators for five different grants.

Namuduri received a grant from NASA for a project titled "Guided Planetary Surface Exploration using Rovers and Wireless Sensor Networks." The award period is Dec. 1, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2010.

EE receives accreditation from ABET

We are proud to announce that the Bachelor of Science Program in Electrical Engineering at UNT is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012.

First Ph.D. recipient named from Electrical Engineering

The faculty and staff of the Department of Electrical Engineering congratulate Dr. Jue Yang for the successful defense of his Ph.D. dissertation!

Jue Yang will be the first Ph.D. recipient directed by an EE faculty at UNT. We all congratulate him for his major achievements at UNT and wish him the best in developing a long-term successful career in EE.
