One of the greatest volleyball player in North Texas history, Corina Marginas was the program's first All-American.

Marginas was a four-time first-team all-conference player from 2000 to 2003 and was the 2003 Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year. That 2003 season, Marginas was named by the AVCA to the All-American team as she set the school record for most kills in a single season with 651.

Marginas led the 2003 team to 22 victories, the most in nearly a decade. Marginas held four of the nine North Texas career school records. Marginas set the school record for kills in a single match with 38, which she accomplished twice. In 2000, she was named the Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year.

When her career finished, she held the top-five kill performances in a match in school history. Marginas was also a two-time Academic All-America for District VI in 2001 and 2002.
