North Texas Athletics Hall of Fame
Robert Shepard played guard on the Eagle football team's offensive line, earning two letters. North Texas tied for the Lone Star Conference championship in 1935 and won the title outright in 1936, when Shepard was named all-conference and one of the team's co-captains.
