Mean Green Wrap Up Play In Dallas

DALLAS – Viktor Forslund once again led the way for the Mean Green men's golf team on Tuesday, as the junior was the team's top golfer for the second straight day as they closed out the Trinity Forest Invitational at 35-over par.

The Mean Green improved on the previous day's round for the second consecutive day but still finished off the pace set by tournament champion Arizona State, which finished 30-under par – a new tournament record.

Forslund shot a 2-under-par 69 on Tuesday to finish tied for 46th at 3-over par. Freshman Zak Karkaletsos was the team's second-best finisher at 7-over for the tournament, putting him in a tie for 65th.

The Mean Green will have a quick turnaround before hitting the course again on Friday and Saturday at The Tucker in Albuquerque, N.M.

Fans can follow the program on Twitter and Facebook throughout the season, as well as on MeanGreenSports.com.
