Travel Medicine

The SHWC provides appointments for students traveling abroad for a UNT trip or personal travel. To schedule an appointment call (940) 565-2333 or schedule your appointment online. When making your appointment, make sure you tell the scheduler where you are going on your trip. You may be required to make a 2nd appointment.

What to bring to your appointment:

• SHWC Pre-Travel form
• Immunization records
• Travel forms
• Student ID card

Immunizations must be given at least 14 days prior to traveling to be effective.

List of Immunizations offered at the SHWC:

• Hepatitis A
• Hepatitis B
• MMR( Mumps, Measles and Rubella)
• Tetanus
• Adacel (Tdap)
• Meningitis

We also offer oral Typhoid and Malaria pills in the UNT Pharmacy with a prescription from a medical provider.

Please note, there is a form completion charge for medical providers to complete any necessary travel documents.
