Biography: 

S. Yasaman Amirkiaee is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology and Decision Sciences at the University of North Texas. She got her PhD in Management Science from UNT and served the department as a Teaching Fellow for two years. Yasaman has two master's degrees: the first one in Industrial Management (Operations Research) from Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran (Iran) and the second one in Engineering Management (System Engineering) from Florida International University. Her four years of teaching experience include teaching Operations Research and Production Management in Iran, as well as Data Analysis, Business Statistics, and Data Mining in the US. Yasaman's current research interests include Decision Making Analysis, Text Analytics, New Paradigms in the Transportation Industry, and New Technology Acceptance. Since being at UNT, Yasaman has had several talks on her research works in the conferences such as SWDSI, DSI, INFORMS, and POMS and published two journal papers in Transportation Research: Part F and INFORMS Transactions on Education.
