UNT has six faculty Affinity groups to provide additional support and mentoring to faculty. An Affinity Group is a group of faculty linked by a common background, purpose, ideology, or interest. They play a role in helping to ensure that UNT provides an inclusive environment where all faculty are valued, included, and empowered to succeed. Many of them receive funding and support from the Office of Faculty Success and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The current Affinity Groups are:
