The Office of Government Relations works closely with the University of North Texas System Chancellor, Board of Regents and component institution leaders in establishing state and federal legislative for the UNT System.
Government Relations engages constituencies on behalf of the legislative priorities necessary to support the UNT System and its component institutions, monitors legislative and agency operations and provides information to officials at all levels of government.
The Office of Government Relations also serves as the Office of Policy Operations, focusing on public policy issues that impact higher education and the UNT System, as well as preparing research and analysis to shape and inform policy decisions.
