The University of North Texas System is a publicly funded institution with five components in one of the nation’s 10 largest metro areas. Almost 10,000 faculty, staff and student workers are employed in the region.

UNT was founded in 1890.The UNT campus is about 30 miles from downtown Dallas and from downtown Fort Worth, both accessible by interstate highways. UNT Health Science Center, Fort Worth

The center was founded in 1970 as the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. UNTHSC is comprised of five graduate schools of medical professions and research, and administers an MD-degree granting medical school in conjunction with TCU. UNT Dallas, Dallas

UNT Dallas was formally established by legislative action in 2001 and became a free-standing university in 2009. The university provides career-focused majors to an underserved area and student demographic. The campus is located in south Dallas, easily accessible by Interstates 20 and 35 and Dallas transportation arteries. Find employment opportunities.

UNT Dallas College of Law, Dallas

The College of Law admitted its first class in fall 2014. The college’s mission is to offer real world legal education at a competitive cost for students, many with established careers, who aspire to public administration and services. UNT System Administration, Dallas

The UNT System office is located in downtown Dallas in a renovated, historically significant building. The Office of the Chancellor and executive management functions for human resources, finance, legal/compliance, planning and construction, information technology, academic affairs that support all locations comprise system administration.
