UNT Health Science Center, Fort Worth
The center was founded in 1970 as the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. UNTHSC is comprised of five graduate schools of medical professions and research, and administers an MD-degree granting medical school in conjunction with TCU. UNT Dallas, Dallas
UNT Dallas was formally established by legislative action in 2001 and became a free-standing university in 2009. The university provides career-focused majors to an underserved area and student demographic. The College of Law admitted its first class in fall 2014. The college’s mission is to offer real world legal education at a competitive cost for students, many with established careers, who aspire to public administration and services. The UNT System office is located in downtown Dallas in a renovated, historically significant building.
