North Texas Daily Newspaper
North Texas Daily is the official student newspaper of the University of North Texas. It is published each Thursday during the fall and spring semesters and bimonthly during the summer sessions, except university holidays and exam periods. North Texas Daily, a nonprofit newspaper, provides information, commentary, and entertainment for UNT and North Texas communities. We strive to promote a quality, real-world experience for students within the business and journalism community.

Dining and Food
Avesta
Avesta restaurant is a dining option available in the University Union. It is a full-service, sit-down restaurant at a reasonable price. Avesta provides an alternative option to residence hall dining and retail food shops.

Dining Services
We provide meal plans for students residing on campus and for commuters, faculty and staff who choose to dine in the residence halls. We also oversee Avesta and retail food shops on campus.

Food Pantry
We serve as an accessible on-campus food source for students in need. This resource is provided through the Office of the Dean of Students. Any current student in need may access the Food Pantry in the following locations during the following times.
University Union, Room 409: 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Fridays
University Union, Room 366: 5-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday
Discovery Park, Engineering Library, Room M130: 2-4 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday
