UNT World Team Members Give Back through SECC

During the month of October, UNT System team members have a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community through the State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC). This annual fundraising effort gives state employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for tens of thousands in the North Texas region and throughout the state.

For more than 25 years, State of Texas employees have embraced fellow Texans through the SECC, contributing millions of dollars annually. Last year alone, UNT World team members raised more than $180,000 between UNT, UNT Dallas, UNT Health Science Center and UNT System Administration.

UNT System Administration Team Members can learn more about SECC, one of the largest state employee campaigns in the nation, at secctexas.org.  Overseen by the State Policy Committee, the SECC receives no state appropriations and is the only authorized state-wide charitable campaign for employees. And, giving is now even easier than ever thanks to SECC’s online giving site. Every gift is tax deductible and can be given to your SECC charity of choice

Questions? Please contact our UNT System SECC Coordinator Gary Finney at 972 238-1411, or visit with your local SECC coordinator. This year’s coordinators are Marisa Clabby (Downtown Dallas), Taylor Jordan (BSC), Brandi Webster (Discovery Park), Keeshala Henderson (UNT Dallas) and Elizabeth Schwartz (UNTHSC/Fort Worth).
