Christopher Haney M.S. student Engineering Technology
As a researcher in UNT’s Center for Agile and Adaptive Additive Manufacturing, he was chosen for a new study abroad experience in 3D printing and zero waste manufacturing methods in which he’s exploring biomimetic walking surfaces that reduce risk of injury and improve safety .

Shanshan Ma, Ph.D. student, Learning Technologies
One of six finalists in the Ed Tech Ascend competition sponsored by the U . S .-China Smart Education Conference in 2019, she’s creating an app that will develop critical thinking skills in school-aged children

   

José Torres-Ramos, Ph.D. student, Ethnomusicology
Winner of the prestigious Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fellowship, he’s researching mariachi and masculinity in performance in Mexico .
