The Factory: 3D Printing

3D Printing

Several 3D printers are available to members of the UNT Community.  Requests are fulfilled on a first come, first served basis. Typically, your job will be started anywhere between three business days to one week after your request is paid.  Please take this into account when requesting print jobs.

Please Note the Following:

  1. All prints cost $1.00 per hour of operational time (to recoup the cost of filament)
  2. Print charges are assessed to you regardless of your satisfaction with the end product.  We simply print the files you provide.  It is your responsibility to ensure that files are sized appropriately and are structurally sound.
  3. We offer a Factory Resources Consultation to help you plan print jobs, coordinate larger projects, etc.  If you are inexperienced we suggest you contact us to discuss your project.
