The Department of Communication Studies produces Alumni who are successful in a variety of fields including law, media, business, teaching, public relations and even music and performance. We often have many return to share their stories with one of our student organizations, NCA Future Pros. Communication Studies alumnus Courtney Brazile, was recently honored with the College's Excellence in Teaching Award for his dedication to his students and their academic success. The Excellence in Teaching Award is presented annually to the teacher who has shown an outstanding ability to be innovative and engaging with their students.
