Thorne Anderson

A specialist in photojournalism, visual communication and multimedia storytelling, Anderson has worked internationally as a freelance photojournalist for publications including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and Newsweek. Dr. Sheri BroylesDr. Sheri Broyles

Dr. Broyles’ professional background in advertising and public relations has led her to research interests on a variety of aspects of creativity, such as the creative personality, creative portfolios and the study of women within creative departments. A UNT Distinguished Teaching Professor, Dr. Broyles has published work debunking subliminal advertising and is currently working on a study of advertising in Cuba.  Read more»

 

Carolyn BrownCarolyn Brown

Brown is an award-winning filmmaker and journalist. Her areas of expertise are Latino immigrant communities, the border and Latina representations in the media. Her documentaries have been distributed by American Public Television, NBC and NETA. Brown’s journalism career spans more than a decade and includes work as a producer at MSNBC News and Fox News Channel and in local news in Phoenix, San Francisco and Washington D.C.  Read more»

A longtime media executive, Foote specializes in the future of media, social media and journalism, media management and multimedia storytelling. Dr. Tracy EverbachDr. Tracy Everbach

Dr. Everbach brings to UNT 12 years of experience as a newspaper reporter at The Dallas Morning News. Her research interests include gender and race in media, newsroom management and sports coverage. She has published numerous works on these topics, including her recently published book, “Mediating Misogyny: Gender, Technology and Harassment.”  Read more»
