Dr. David Wolf joined UNT as Vice President for University Advancement in May 2015. As the head of UNT’s development, fundraising and alumni relations programs, he oversees efforts to foster relationships with donors, advocates and alumni, and build partnerships with corporate and private organizations.
Under his leadership, UNT has experienced increases in donors and alumni association members. Additionally, Dr. Wolf and his team achieved record-setting fundraising totals for multiple years and secured the largest gift in UNT history — a $30 million commitment from alumnus Brint Ryan, which established the G. Brint Ryan College of Business.
Dr. Wolf, a UNT alumnus with nearly two decades of experience in higher education philanthropy and alumni engagement, is also a faculty member in UNT’s College of Education and has published research on topics related to university leadership and giving.
Prior to joining UNT, he served as executive director for individual, planned, and regional giving at UCLA for six years. Dr. Wolf also held leadership positions in university advancement at the University of Southern Mississippi, the University of Alabama, Cameron University and the University of Texas at Arlington.
