CLEAR offers a full range of free media production services to UNT faculty for online and blended course creation and enhancement. Project requests are made through your instructional consultant. Turn-around time for projects will vary depending on the scope of your project and the length of our production queue.

How do I take advantage of these services?

First, arrange a consultation with your CLEAR Instructional Consultant (IC).

During the consultation, your IC will assist you in determining the most appropriate technology to use for your educational goals. The two of you will discuss project parameters and timelines, and you may be required to submit design documents or other instructional materials.

Once the project is clearly defined and all requested materials are received, your IC will submit a task request to the production unit. Depending on the scope of the project, additional meetings with production staff may be required.

Your IC will notify you when your project is complete and ready for review. Revisions to the project at this stage will likely necessitate an extended deadline.

Finally, the production unit will help you integrate the completed project into your online course.
How Much Does it Cost?
Nothing! CLEAR services are a free resource for University of North Texas faculty members. Most of the work we do involves educational content for online courses, but we have also produced resources for blended and face-to-face classes. Discuss your project proposal with your Instructional Consultant to determine if it qualifies for our production services.
