LEG: Learning Enhancement Grant

The Learning Enhancement Grant (LEG) Program was an annual, competitive award program sponsored by the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs and administered by the Center for Learning Enhancement, Assessment, and Redesign (CLEAR). The goal of the LEG program was to support the development of online and blended learning courses and programs that meet nationally-recognized standards for online course design. Ensuring that the university’s online and blended courses provide not only improved access to higher education, but also to the highest quality education, aligns with goals 1 and 2 of the University’s four bold goals.

The Learning Enhancement Grant (LEG) program ended with the 2013-2014 award cycle.

Prior Learning Enhancement Grant-Funded Projects

Although the eligibility, priorities, and requirements change from year to year, some applicants find it useful to review previous years' successful grant proposals. Below are links to the prior LEG-funded projects:

Note: CLEAR also offers the opportunity for full course redesign through the Next Generation Course Redesign™ project and for partial course redesign through the Transformative Instructional Initiative (TII) as well as the summer Course Design Institute (CDI).
