Room Facilities: Chilton 245 provides internet access and presentation capabilities via a Dell OptiPlex 7010 PC running Windows 7. Any laptop can easily be connected to the system wirelessly via the Barco Clickshare device. A variety of software is available including MS Office 2013, with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Real Player, Wolfram Mathematica, iTunes, and TurningPoint and Panopto. Presentation equipment includes two Mitsubishi WD3300U data projectors; one for the presenter, the other for the students or meeting participants, a ceiling mounted Wolfvision Eye 12 Document Camera and DVD player installed in the PC. Both the instructor and audience use fixed, ceiling mounted AudioScience microphones.

Thanks to a special paint by Goo Systems, the front wall of the room allows presentations to come alive on a projection surface that measures 78” high and 136” wide, with “invisible speakers” imbedded within - audio comes directly from the screen. There is also a 6’ screen at the rear of the room for the speaker to view their presentation or the far-end participants in a videoconference. A Tandberg C-90 codec with an AMX touch panel controls the system in Chilton 245.
