The Learning Center values educating students and staff about academic success-related topics. If you would like to have someone from the Learning Center come to your class, department, student organization, please fill out an Outreach Services Request Form.
Presentations are designed to be interactive and involve participants in discussion or activities and usually last 30-45 minutes. We find the most successful presentations focus on one topic –or two related topics that are relevant to the needs of the group. Presentations cover topics such as the following.
- Time management,
- Study strategies,
- Learning styles,
- Test-taking and test anxiety,
- Note-taking,
- Goal-setting,
- And more!
An overview of services available through the Learning Center will be provided with every presentation. Or, an introductory Learning Center presentation can be provided.
