First Flight is UNT's official welcome week program. This week is designed to help new students begin their college experience on the right foot. From programs that prepare you for the upcoming educational opportunities to programs where you get to let loose and meet fellow peers, there is something for everyone!
All new freshman students are required to participate in First Flight Week. During Mean Green Move-In Weekend (Saturday, August 17 - Sunday, August 18) you will move in to your residence hall home and check in for First Flight Week. Participation in First Flight Week is required and attendance will be taken at all First Flight events. Student Athletes and those in the Green Brigade Marching Band will have a modified schedule to accommodate your practice schedule for the week.
