Programs for Minors on Campus

Creating a positive environment that promotes health, wellness, safety, and security for children and teens is of upmost importance to UNTHSC. To help us ensure this all faculty, staff, students, and volunteers are required to take sexual abuse and child molestation training and examination as prescribed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (“TDSHS”). Criminal background screenings may also be required for your UNTHSC campus program or activity involving minors. Please see the Background Check tab in the menu bar for further guidance.

To assist in your Program or Activity we have created guidelines for you to follow. These guidelines apply to Programs and Activities in accordance with the UNTHSC’s Campus Programs and Activities Involving Minors Policy.
