Tour of a Lifetime - Dallas Tornado Soccer Panel Discussion

The Dallas Tornado World Tour of 1967-68 was legendary, and UNT Special Collections is pleased to display a collection of soccer mementos in the Sarah T. Hughes Reading Room all semester to commemorate the 50th anniversary. The exhibit can also be viewed online.

In conjunction with this exhibit, we are excited to host members of the 1967-68 Dallas Tornado Soccer Club for a discussion panel about the tour and how it changed their lives. In addition to the team members, Coach Bob Kap’s daughter, Sonja Kap Jordan-Mowery, will speak about her father’s experience on the tour, his passion for world events and his collections which are housed in UNT Special Collections.

Please join us Friday, October 19, 2018 for a reception beginning at 5:30pm and a panel discussion beginning at 6:30pm, at the UNT Frisco Campus.
